Family Mentoring
Southeastern Diabetes Education Services recognizes that learning that your child has diabetes can be very difficult. We realize that many parents/caregivers would like to have a friend to talk to who understands this experience.
Our "Family Mentor" program connects parents of newly diagnosed children with a friend, usually another parent of a child with diabetes, who will listen to the parent's concerns while offering encouragement and friendship.
We would like to help you make a connection with one of our "Family Mentors".
